Appeal for witnesses following assault in Aldershot

We are appealing for witnesses following an assault on Victoria Road, Aldershot.

During the incident, which occurred shortly after 2am on Sunday 28 December, it’s reported that a man in his 30s was punched by an unknown man, causing him to fall to the ground.

The victim sustained a cut to the head and a broken leg as a result of the subsequent fall.

A 22-year-old man from Aldershot was subsequently arrested on suspicion of wounding/inflicting GBH without intent. He has since been released on conditional police bail, pending further enquiries.
